Stories about what happened when...something you saw recently...about a book or an article you read a few days or weeks ago...about something you've discussed with a friend, a colleague, your family...I mean, there's a world of things happening right in front of your eyes that you can utilise and weave into great stories. Have you ever noticed yourself thinking? You become aware that you've been running pictures, scenes, moving images, sounds, talking, conversations, physical sensations...and all of this whilst you're in the middle of doing something else? There are at least two places to focus your attention - on what's happening outside of your own neurology, and what's happening on the inside. Anything can take us deeper into these internal states, when we're noticing less of what's going on on the outside, and focusing more deeply on what's happening within.
